In the heart of the world-renowned Wine Route, just 20 minutes from Cape Town lies the Helderberg area comprising the towns of Somerset West, Gordon´s Bay and Strand. Somerset West is nestled between the slopes of the Helderberg mountain and the False Bay coastline and is a gateway to scenic drives and the Winelands.

Cape Topaz is situated a stone's throw from vineyards and is on the gateway to the Garden Route. We are a mere 20 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport, 30 minutes to Cape Town City Centre, 10 minutes to the University of Stellenbosch, 60 minutes to Cape Point, 50 minutes to Hermanus.

Cape Topaz is located in a secure, established residential area and is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the many attractions offered by the area. From here you can discover beaches, browse through shopping centres, visit cinemas, enjoy wine tasting, head for hiking trails, opt for a game of golf and tennis or try one of the many gourmet cafes and restaurants.

And you have the ideal starting point for day trips to major tourist attractions, such as Franshoek, Robben Island, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Boulders Beach with its Jackass Penguins, Cape Point or Hermanus for whale watching.

Cape Topaz offers three up market, luxurious rooms. Each of the comfortable rooms is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, safe, aircon and TV/M-Net/shared DStv. The spacious bathrooms are en-suite and have a shower and bath with luxurious toiletries and bathrobes. All rooms have a balcony, overlooking the Helderberg Mountain or with panoramic view over False Bay.

To complement your stay, a full English breakfast is included. The pool, lounge and bar area are to be used at the guest's leisure. Secure off street parking is available.
